I can’t be the only one giving a public view at what this internship is like – that would be a journalistic bias! So twice a week, other interns will be blogging about the ins and outs of work – events and experiences, trends, favorite products, etc.

A day in the life of a mark. intern is one of the best experiences any mark. Rep could ask for!  Not only do we get to work in New York City at mark.’s offices with all the executives, but we also get to learn about all the behind-the-scenes pieces of a business and what makes mark. so successful.

These past two weeks have been amazing as we have met with our mentors, learned about of projects, and listened to some empowering women who are the backbone of mark.  The interns have already had the opportunity to hear from Robin Tolvin, Liz Kaplow, Claudia Poccia, and Jamie Greenberg.  One of our favorites has been the presentation and conversation with mark.’s president, Claudia.

It was inspiring to hear directly from our president about the journey and struggles she overcame throughout her life and how she got to where she is today.  She admitted that she never thought she would lead a beauty and fashion trend brand but is so pleased with the way things have worked out for her. She’s proud to be able to help re-invent direct selling and make it relevant for generations to come, and along the way empower more women to be strong and independent.  We, as interns, are so fortunate to be a part of this and live everyday by mark.’s mission.

A thought for the day comes from our President, Claudia Poccia, (a quote that all the interns quickly wrote down), “If you wake up every morning and look in the mirror and really like the person you see, and everyday you want to make a positive influence and you are proud of yourself because you do things the right way, then you are truly lucky.”
